MARITZ MOTIVATION SOLUTIONS

As my longest standing job, I held a lot of hats at Maritz. My overarching tasks included working with an energetic team to discuss creative direction on monthly website updates, email marketing, and other creative tasks. As the sole designer I would design monthly home and landing pages content, microsite pages, and emails. I would also be in charge of designing content such as company infographics, digital and print catalogs, and the occasional shirt design. After design was approved I would use HTML, css and the Maritz business control center, file transfer protocol (FTP), and targeting processes to update the home page, landing page, and microsite content. This website content would appear across numerous reputable reward program websites such as Ford, Wells Fargo, Hilton, FedEx, and UPS, just to name a few. For the email designs I, again as the sole designer, would be in charge of slicing the design to prepare for development. Using Dreamweaver, HTML and css I would also develop the content, load it to Salesforce Marketing Cloud and send test emails to the team for review. My position at Maritz required knowledge in wireframing, UX design, email design and development, photo retouching, print and digital catalog design, copy writing, logo design, css, HTML, and a touch of JSON, jQuery and Javascript.

BUILD-A-BEAR WORKSHOP HEADQUARTERS

Utilizing the sophisticated Build-A-Bear procedures created multiple email design concepts. Designs were then uploaded to the review system where they were put through a vigorous revision process. These processes would occasionally include a complete redesign on a tight deadline due to product changes, shortages, and or other industry/technical difficulties. Each of these assignments were organized in an elaborate and specific management protocol system specific to Build-A-Bear. Designs were not only created for the US but were also sent to Canadian, European, and Irish audiences. Changes would include things such as a change in product, copy, and or adverting.
